Lawn Fertilizing

Make sure your lawn grows strong and healthy with regular fertilizing from the experts at Cavanaugh's Lawn Care & Outdoor Services. We provide full-service fertilizing throughout the year to bring out the best in your residential or commercial landscape. 

• First Application: Provided April through early May. An application of complete balanced fertilizer with pre-emergent crabgrass and broadleaf weed control will be applied.
• Second Application: Provided mid-May through early June. A granular fertilizer will be applied, and your lawn will be sprayed for post-emergent broadleaf weed control.
• Third Application: Provided June through early July. A granular fertilizer will be applied, and your lawn will be spot sprayed for post-emergent broadleaf weed control.
• Fourth Application: Provided late July through early August. A granular fertilizer will be applied, and your lawn will be spot sprayed for post-emergent broadleaf weed control.
• Fifth Application: Provided late August through early September. A granular fertilizer will be applied, and your lawn will be spot sprayed for post-emergent broadleaf weed control.
• Sixth Application: Provided October through November. A granular fertilizer will be applied for winter feeding, which promotes root development and a faster green appearance in the spring.
• Grub and Insect Control: This application is separate from the lawn fertilization and weed control program. An application of grub and insect control will be provided throughout the growing season with timing based on the targeted pest.
